2019 Election: Is Fatai Mojeed Fit To Return To Office?

Inhabitants of Bogije, a community in Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Lagos State are complaining bitterly about the kind of representative they have in the Lagos House of Assembly.
Represented by Hon. Fatai Mojeed, it is common to hear people ask how the man who was elected in 2015, has not been able to use his office to better the fortunes of his people. One of the major complaints is the disheartening condition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Road, the major road which serves the community.
The deplorable condition of the road is such that when it rains the whole environment becomes waterlogged, filled with unpacked mud from gutters on both sides of the road, while tractors threaten to override other road users.
Surprising is that despite the fact that Hon. Mojeed resides in a massive white mansion in the same community he comes across to his people as feigning ignorance to the situation each time he drives in his Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), on the same road.
A recent visit by About Town to the community revealed an environment in need of someone with a new direction. If something is not done fast, it won’t be a surprise if the people of the community call for a change in representation come 2019, when elections holds.
