The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has been declared the winner of the Presidential and National Assembly election held in Plateau State on Saturday, February 25.
Results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) revealed that Obi secured 466, 272 votes to beat All Progressive Congress (APC)’s Bola Tinubu who secured 307, 195 votes.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP)’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar secured 243, 808 while the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso secured 8,869 votes.
