2023: Like Buhari, Tinubu Forgets Name Of Party In Jos Rally

Confusion is trailing the Tinubu Campaign Organisations, ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

This comes after the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu almost said “God Bless PDP’ in his campaign flag off speech in Jos.

Speaking at his presidential campaign flag off in Plateau on Tuesday, 15 November, 2022, Tinubu just but said God bless PDP, as he said “God bless you bless PD before changing to APC”.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is an opposition party whose presidential candidate is former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar.

This is not the first time Tinubu would be making basic errors while delivering his speech.

It will be recalled that last month, the APC flagbearer gave a speech on his plans for Nigeria at the Kaduna Economic and Investment summit which was criticized by Nigerians.

His speech touched on insecurity, judicial reforms, the economy and other sectors. However, the speech was overshadowed by a gaffe when he was speaking on host Governor Nasir El-rufai of Kaduna State.

Tinubu, in his usual self-confidence, assured the audience that he is going to win the presidential election and urged Governor El-rufai to abandon any plans to retire from public service after his tenure as governor.

In the process, he said  that El-rufai has the capacity to turn a rotten situation into a bad one.

“I am openly begging Nasir El-rufai not to run away for additional degree and excuse. He is going to Cairo—PhD and everything. There are a lot of educated relics. We are not going to let you run away, your vision, creativity and resilience in turning a rotten situation into a bad one is necessary at this critical time. That is why we are here today,” he said.

In 2018, during his campaign, President Muhammadu Buhari was quoted to have tagged the APC as All Progressive Confidence (APC) and All Nigerian Progressive Congress (ANPC).
A video of the president with former American President, Barack Obama spotted the president saying the latter.
