Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is set to deliver his political manifesto to the media.
This disclosure was made known by Doyin Okupe, the director of Obi’s campaign on Sunday, October 30, while adding that the platform is dubbed “The Pact with Nigeria.”
Okupe in his tweet said, “Tmro the 31st of Oct, the Presidential campaign organisation of the LP will release to the media & the public “The Pact with Nigeria” the document that chronicles the 7 Governance Priorities of the Obi- Baba Ahmed administration which will usher in our dream for a new Nigeria.”
Obi joins Bola Tinubu, another prominent presidential contender, in announcing his economic platform. Tinubu made his manifesto public earlier this month.
According to Okupe, the document details the Obi-Baba Ahmed administration’s seven governance priorities; which he claimed will birth a new Nigeria.
He also urged suspending the limits on government spending during this protracted moment of global economic turmoil; exacerbated by domestic challenges in security, economy, and demography.
