Nigerian singer, Olubankole Wellington, has won the House of Representative Primary of the Lagos State People Democratic Party (PDP).
The ‘Lagos Party’ singer will now represent PDP in Eti-Osa constituency in the 2023 House of Representatives general elections.
The PDP held its primary on Monday, May 23 and the singer won with a large margin, defeating his opponent with over 25 votes.
Recall that Banky W had tried to contest the same post in 2019, but lost in his party primary.
