
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has announced the country’s highest single coronavirus cases.
The case of 245 is the highest since the index case was announced.
With the new case of 245 infections, the total number of confirmed cases rises to 2802.
The NCDC reported that 17 more patients were discharged and six more deaths recorded on the day the federal government of Nigeria relaxed lockdown.
“76-Lagos, 37-Katsina, 32-Jigawa, 23-Kano, 19-FCT, 18-Borno, 10-Edo, 9-Bauchi, 6-Adamawa, 5-Oyo, 5-Ogun, 1-Ekiti, 1-Osun, 1-Benue, 1-Niger and 1-Zamfara.
A total of 2802 confirmed cases of COVID-19 was announced by the NCDC. With 417 discharged patients and 93 deaths in total.
