African Queen crooner and one of Africa’s finest artiste, 2Face Idibia, has dropped a new single.
The song, is the first single off his sixth studio album ‘The Ascension’.
Titled ‘Let Somebody Love You’, the song was recorded and produced by Femi ‘Femdouble’ Ojetunde, and features Roc Nation’s artiste, Bridget Kelly.
Speaking on his source of inspiration for the song 2face said “This song is about giving room for more love…like a Diamond in the rough, we need to let our light shine through. The healthiest way to do that is by Loving and being Loved.”
The duo performed the single for the first time at the #MakurdiRocks date of the Star Trek concert series to a wild and appreciative audience earlier this year.
2face, made his first recording ‘Body & Soul’ as a member of the trio Plantashun Boiz in 1999.
