Popular actor, Saheed Balogun has debunked the rumours making the rounds that he is getting married soon.
Speaking to www.theoctopusnews.com in a phone interview the actor said the rummour making the rounds that he had taking steps to officially marry another lady is all cock and bull story. Our investigation, revealed that the lady who Saheed is said to be set to marry Funke Sofowora is his girl friend, but nothing has been said about marriage between the two and this fact was confirmed by the actor.
Funke is the cousin of Onikate of Ikate land, Oba Saheed Elegushi.
Reacting to the allegations that he would be married to Funke by 7th of July 2013, he said WHEN THE DATE COMES AND THERE IS NOTHING TO PROVE SUCH PEOPLE WILL BE CONVINCED.
It would be recalled that Saheed was formerly married to Fathia, a colleague in the movie industry. They stepped out together to events and were seen as a perfect celebrity couple.
But the marriage which produced two kids scattered about six years ago after which accusations of infidelity began to fly from both sides.
About three years ago, Fathia Balogun caused a media blitz when she posed in a picture flaunting an engagement ring on her finger. The picture made the media report that she was about to get married to another man, but the wedding is yet to take place till date.
