The music career of Alapomeji crooner 9ice has been revived.
In 2015, 9ice was in a doldrums, as he could hardly drop a meaningful song. He maintained relevance with his presence at a couple of events, some of which saw him getting involved in unnecessary issues with fans.
The albums released during his gloomy era could easily be tagged a market failure, as the artiste could hardly have made any meaningful sales.
9ice’s failure to win the primaries of Ogbomosho Federal Constituency also killed his exit plan of turning to politics; hence he had to seek a solution to his problem of lacking hits.
His revival came with songs such as ‘Ojo’, ‘Glass House’, ‘Living Things’, ‘Economy’ and more recently ‘Irapada’, his collaboration with Junior Boy.
Since the release of ‘Irapada’, 9ice has found a new lease of life and this has seen him doing more collaboration. Some of his recently released collaborations include those with Demmie Vee and Toby Grey. This new lease of life has seen the artiste unveiling GOAT, a new album set to be released before the end of this year. Already, he has dropped ‘TGIF’ the first single on the album, as his fans await more from him.
