Update: Super Eagles Now Set To Fly Of Libya

Members of the senior national football team of Nigeria, Super Eagles and their officials are set to depart Libya.
The latest update on the 14-hours standoff between the Super Eagles and the Football Federation of Libya was shared on X by sports enthusiast, Pooja Media.
He wrote, “Super Eagles players and all officials are boarding to fly out of Libya to Nigeria. Thank God.”
Confirming this, a player, Bruno Onyemaechi, wrote, “Me and Libya, I don wash my hands commot. Nothing concerns me and una again. Thank God I’m going back.”
Prior to this update, Libyan authorities were alleged to have refused to provide the Super Eagles’ chartered flight, ValueJet permission to fly out of the country.
The country also refused to sell aviation fuel to the plane to fly the players back to Nigeria.
