Husband Snatching Drama: Lola Idije Vindicates Biodun Okeowo

Seasoned actress, Lola Idije, has spoken up on a husband-snatching controversy involving her younger colleague, Biodun Okeowo.

For some time now, Okeowo has been accused of snatching the husband of Idije’s daughter.

In a statement released on her Instagram page, the veteran actress set the record straight, stating that Okeowo did not snatch her daughter’s partner. She recalled that she attended Okeowo’s wedding, which wouldn’t have been possible if the rumours were true.

Idije further clarified that the first time she spoke to Okeowo’s husband was when Okeowo introduced him to her on a phone call, and none of her daughters knew him personally.

“I want to address the story going around since yesterday and to clear the air. The first time I ever spoke to Omoborty’s husband was when she introduced him to me on a phone call. I did not know him before that. None of my daughters know him personally. Biodun, aka Omoborty, did not snatch my daughter’s boyfriend. I attended the wedding. There is no way she would do that and I will still attend the wedding. Thank you and I hope this clarifies everything,” she said.
