The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced free train rides for Nigerians between the period of Friday, December 20, and Sunday, January 5.
Exclusively for Nigerian citizens, the free ride is meant for people wishing to travel to celebrate the Christmas festivities.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, announced this on Monday, December 16, while briefing journalists on the outcome of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting.
According to Idris, Nigerians can access the train rides on all the routes where train services are currently being rendered.
