Entertainment industry heavyweights have slammed the recent relationship speculation between singer CDQ and recently single mother, Vanessa Okoye.
CDQ had taken to Instagram to share photos of him and Vanessa, the daughter of event promoter Paul “Paul O” Okoye kissing, perhaps in a bid to confirm they are an item.
However, rather than being celebrated for his newfound love, it’s more of a critique of the promotion agenda that has greeted the whole agenda.
The photo of CDQ and Vanessa has been described as a mere promotion photo op, with many asking how Vanessa has quickly moved on from welcoming a daughter named Zariah Nwamaka Okoye, a few months ago, to being madly in love with the singer.
That CDQ has not had a vibrant music career recently and has struggled to stay afloat in the Nigerian music industry makes the promotion argument believable.
Most recently, CDQ dropped a new single titled ‘Suwe’, a collaborative effort featuring Mastercraft and Ayanfe. It is believed that the photo op with Vanessa is nothing but promotional work to remain in the news circle for a while.
