Orezi Makes Big Moves With New Music

Once one of the raves of the Nigerian Afrobeats music industry,  singer Esegine Allen, popular as Orezi ruled with several hit songs including ‘Whine For Daddy ‘, ‘Shoki’ off the “Gehn Gehn’ album and most recently ‘Your Body’.

The talent who made waves for several years is back with a new determination, to claim a spot at the top of the Afrobeats scene.

Working on several music projects since November 2024, Orezi has gone on to make major moves in the industry.

In late 2024, Orezi teamed up with South African artist PCEE for a remake of his hit joint ‘I Swear’.

The banging outcome was a lyrical showpiece blending Nigerian and South African sounds.

Set to release the official video of ‘PCEE’ which was shot in South Africa, there is no doubt that the colourful visual will further amplify the track’s reach.

This release followed the success of his EP “Chocolate Daddy”,  which featured collaborations with Tekno, Sheebah, and Daphne, showcasing Orezi’s versatility.

Orezi who recently returned to Nigeria from the United Kingdom (UK), where he spends most of his time now reconnected with his yearning fans.

His teeming fans got a feel of his hits on Sunday, February 3rd when he took to the stage to deliver a high-energy performance at Club Vogue, marking his full-fledged return to the music scene.

Looking ahead, Orezi has announced plans to drop a new album this year. But before that, he will keep fans engaged with a steady stream of singles, ensuring that 2025 is the year he takes his rightful place at the top of Afrobeats.
