Senate President, Bukola Saraki has promised to appear before the Code of Conduct Tribunal on Tuesday.
Speaking during an interview, Saraki said ’i dont have anything to hide, so i will be at the Tribunal tommorow.
The Senate President finally agreed to appear before the tribunal after a Federal High Court and a Court of Appeal rejected his application to stop the tribunal from arresting him.
Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Danladi Umar, had on Monday said that Saraki must appear at 10am on Tuesday to face the 13-count charge of alleged corruption.
Saraki, who the tribunal had ordered his arrest last week, was not present, but was represented by his team of lawyers, led by former President of the Nigeria Bar Association, Joseph Daudu.
