Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) artiste, Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, added another year recently.
The artiste, who clocked 23, was awake all night of Monday, July 15, and in the early hours of the Tuesday, July 16, as he was busy re-tweeting birthday messages sent to him by his fans.
Interestingly, while he responded to messages sent to him by fans, he ignored a tweet from actress, Rukky Sanda, and moved on to acknowledge the next message sent to him.
His action was obviously deliberate, as the “Happy Birthday dear, long life, prosperity and more enormous blessing cheers,” which Sanda tweeted, somehow stood alone, as if the artiste was sending her a “we are not from the same world or do I know you from somewhere kind of message.”
While the singer has been on a roll of several controversies ranging from his insatiable love for women, his seeming addiction to the bottle and flashy cars, his action with Sanda might just be a sign of a new beginning and a decision to face his career squarely.
