Untold Story of How Nigeria Breweries Plc Duped Unilag Students
Nigeria Breweries Plc is supposed to be a leading brand in the country’s brewing sector. Unfortunately, they are not.
www.theoctopusnews.com, was inform that in an event which took place sometime ago, Nigeria Breweries Plc contacted some students of University of Lagos (UNILAG), to work as ushers at the launch of their product Climax, an energy drink which has not being too successful in the market.
Our source informed us that the organisers of the event who are supposed to be role models to the students tried taking advantage of them by asking that they spend the night in their hotel room.
According to the source, because the girls refused to dance to their tune the person who was supposed to pay them was told by one of the managers to disappeared so that the girls would eventually be delayed, as they will have no alternative but to sleep in their room.
www.theoctopusnews.com, learnt that at the end of the programme, the students were left unpaid with most of them having to beg for money from passersby to get back to school.
We were informed that but for the fact that a top executives of Nigeria Breweries Limited got wind of the fact that several months after the product was launched the students hadn’t been paid and that they were organising a protest of sort to embarrassed Nigeria Breweries Limited, they wouldn’t have settled the issue.
Reacting to the development a student of Unilag who identified himself as KB told us that severally when students go for events like that the organiser take fancy in the girls and want to sleep with them, it is true he stated.
Such is the nature of Nigeria Breweries Plc and their Managers, as they are now been alleged of exploiting young girls each time they organise an event.
