Popular music producer and artist Babatunde Okungbowa popular as OJB is dead.
According to information available to us, the Searching singer died due to a relapse in his health condition.
Three years ago, OJB, was diagnosed with a kidney related disease. He was however saved following financial intervention from then Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi who bankrolled his treatment abroad for a kidney transplant.
Having survived for three years, he allegedly had a relapse which saw him going for dialysis.
He however gave up the ghost according to his manager simply identified as Moses in the early hours of Tuesday, June 14.
In his time, OJB was known for recording and producing some of the most successful music artist including 2Baba and Yemi Alade.
He is survived by three wives namely June ‘Ama’, Korede and Mabel. He is also said to have eight children from the women.
