Lagos State and indeed the whole of the South West are anticipating what could be described as the biggest wedding of the year.
Since talks of Folarin, one of the sons of Africa’s richest woman, Folorunsho and Modu Alakija, walking the isle with his fiancée broke out it has been it’s been a sort of hysteria in the upscale social circles where the Alakijas belong, as socialites scavenge for information about the wedding.
While information about the nuptial are still sketchy, the marriage ceremony which will see Folarin and his Iranian bride walk the isle has been slated for Saturday, November 19, at the Grand Ball room, Oriental Hotel, Lagos State.
Plans are said to be underway to ensure a royal celebration for the couple.
Those who should know have revealed that what was seen at the grand 65th birthday of Alakija would be a child’s play to what is being planned for Folarin’s special day. This is on account of Alakija’s taste and style over the years.
