In recent times, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has been at the receiving end in a case brought against him by the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
However, respite seems to have come for the governor following an order from a Federal High Court which sat in Abuja days back.
On Monday, December 19, Fayose had reasons to smile when the court ordered the EFCC, to release all of his initially seized properties.
Justice Nnamdi Dimgba gave the order while ruling on an application filed by Governor Fayose through his counsel Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN).
For Fayose, the judgment was respite for him, as he took to twitter to celebrate saying, “I have God’s anointing. The more they run after me, the more they hit their head on the Rock of Ages and get themselves fatally injured.”
