The traditional ruler displayed how supportive he can be recently when he showed his support for the newly established National Ethnic and Values Compliance Office (NEVACO).
Oba Shotobi, received officials of the agency on a courtesy visit to his palace, led by the Lagos State Director, Mr. Olamide Alale.
The visibly elated Oba applauded the establishment, saying it was a good idea and one in the right direction, as advising his guests not to lose hope in the project Nigeria.
Throughout their time in the palace, the monarch gave his guests an attentive ear betraying no emotion that he wasn’t interested in the visit.
NEVACO aims at correcting ills of society and ensuring that people obey the laid down rules and regulations of the environment in which they live. The group’s activities are divided into three section, Commodity Exchange Programme, Training and Manpower Development and NECOM force.
