Asides the launch of the album, another highpoint of the event was the launching of the singer’s musical studio and award presentation to notables such as late Mr. Olayiwola Jolaoso, Barrister Laide Osijo, Mr. Kunle Oladein and Joel Ajayi. Indeed, Kunle Ajomale is back.

The road to Ajomale’s music career is described as thus. He was a member of the Gangan Caste, a drama and performing group at the Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye now known as Olabisi Onabanjo University. On March 4, 1983, late Chief Awolowo came for the turning of the first sod of the permanent campus site, and the ‘Gangan Caste’ put up a performance to entertain the dignitaries at the occasion which also included late Governor Olabisi Onabanjo among others. Chief Awolowo was very thrilled by the performance that he particularly made mention of the lead singer, who was really Ajomale and that really meant a lot to him.

So, when Awolowo died, Ajomale travelled to his home town Ikenne to research about the sage. Supported by his family, he got information about all his achievements and then composed all that into music. Surprisingly, the album won him the Best Corper award 1987, in Bendel State and got him an automatic employment. The album marked the beginning of his foray into professional music.
