Wizkid has been speaking on the secret to his many award nominations and plaques.
The musician emerged as one of the biggest nominees in the 12th edition of the Headies with nominations in five categories.
Wizkid rubbed shoulders with Olamide and Simi who also have five nominations, but is topped by Davido who has six.
Speaking during an interview, Wizkid said “I work very hard and I put God first in everything I do. I don’t go and see anybody behind closed doors to beg anyone to nominate me in any award; I just work hard for it,” he said, while explaining the secret to his music success.
