It appears that Manchester United’s coach Jose Mourinho is on his way out of the club.
Friction between the coach and his star midfielder Paul Pogba means that either of the two has to go.
In an age where when the star man has a problem with the manager, it’s the manager who goes first, the ex-Chelsea coach might just be set to suffer another contract termination.
Fueling issues, Pogba has been quoted telling reporters that “If you’re not happy, you cannot give your best.” “There are things that I cannot say otherwise I will get fined.”
Alan Shearer confirms the Mourinho exit theory when he said “There seems to be an on-going battle between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba at Manchester United and it does not appear to be going away,” Shearer said.
“Most of the time in this situation, the players win the battle as Jose Mourinho knows as he has experience of this at Chelsea.
“If Jose does try to take on too many players at United, I would not be surprised if the same thing happens again.
“Conte came in at Chelsea with virtually the same team and won the league.
“Whether you like it or not, the players have all the power in the game now and inevitably they end up winning when there is an argument like this.”
If Shearer’s theory is indeed correct, Mourinho is likely to leave the club.
“Manchester United would be absolutely crazy to sell Pogba. I just don’t see how Man United can get rid of this guy,” ESPN pundit Steve Nicol said. Nicol is another person to confirm that its Pogba ahead of Mourinho.
Pogba’s future at Manchester United remains far from certain and reports surfaced earlier this week claiming the player’s agent, Mino Raiola, is trying to broker a transfer to Barcelona for his client.
The French international and Wolrd Cup winner’s current deal expires in 2021. United paid £89million to sign him from Juventus.
