Reactions have been trailing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), following the speculation that the agency had frozen several accounts of family members related to Senator Ademola Adeleke.

According to the speculation, the EFCC allegedly froze the accounts of Osun state People Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant Ademola Adeleke, Davido and  six different accounts belonging to the Adeleke’s family.

Critics are now wondering what motivated the action of the EFCC especially as the 2019 Osun state gubernatorial election approaches, and Adeleke is considered a serious contender.

A tweet shared by ChangeTheChange (PDP Twitter handle) which Davido has since retweeted and dropped comments like, ‘Make dem go Wells Fargo for Atlanta na’.
