Nigerian rapper, Vector Tha Viper, has explained why a lot of artists beg for money when they are sick.
Speaking during an interview, he blamed the situation on piracy and unpaid royalty.
Explaining the situation, the rapper said: “we can’t eradicate piracy, but if we know how to deal with it the way we deal with it in Nigeria, we most likely are not going to have artists who are begging for money when they are sick because their royalty will be in place.”
Explaining that he has now gone digital, Vector revealed that most of his works are now on Spotify, Apple, Deezer and other such music streaming platforms because there he can always see details of his work, as compared to Alaba International Market where no one is ready to show the artist what has become of his song.
