Thespian, Iyabo Ojo, has revealed why she is not a member of any association associated with the Yoruba movie industry including the Theater Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN).
Speaking during an interview, the mother of two revealed that she is not yet a full member of TAMPAN.
According to her, past experiences from when she was a member of Nigeria Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP), informed her decision to stay away from associations in the movie industry.
Iyabo Ojo recollected how as a member of the ANTP, the youths were not allowed an opinion, and they had to accept the fate or risk being tagged as rude or talking back to their elder. She said as members of the association then, they had no say in whatever decision that were taken concerning their affairs.
This according to her informed her decision to step back from associations for now.
