A minister at different points in time, he always had the fortune of bouncing back, at least until his last appointment as Minister of State for Interior in 2009.
Since then, he has been neither here nor there as far as relevance is concerned. Many have even argued that the fair-complexioned man has been hit by hard times.
Whichever way his cookies have crumbled, Seriki appears to be going even down the ladder of good fortunes, as a recent seizure of his properties by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), over his unpaid debt has indeed compounded his woes.
