Kogi State Police Command Arrest Suspected Killers Of PDP Woman Leader

The police in Kogi State has arrested persons suspected to be the killers of Mrs. Salome Abuh, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) woman leader in the state.

The state’s command has since arrested six persons sinces the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu gave the irder for a detailed investigation into the murder.

Abuh was burnt to death by political thugs during the Saturday,  November 16th governorship election in Kogi state.

Confirming the arrest of the suspects, the state police command spokesperson, William Ayah, said the suspects were brought in on Friday. He said the police have begun the interrogation of the suspects to ascertain their level of culpability in the death of Mrs Abuh.

 

Ayah added that the outcome of the investigation will be made public as soon as it is completed.
