Wedding Palaver: Ondo Lawmaker, Tomide Akinribido Dragged By Ex-Girlfriend

An allegation of deceit has been laid on the doorstep of Honourable Tomide Akinribido, the Ondo state’s Deputy Minority leader by his ex-girlfriend.

The lady with the Twitter handle ‘Luciouspeenut ‘ dragged the lawmaker online for lying about being interested in marrying her. She also alleged that he dumped her after using all of her money to fund his election.

Luciouspeenut in her tweet accused the lawmaker of disappearing immediately after winning the election. She further claimed he hinged his decision not to marry her on the fact that his mother wasn’t in support of his marrying a non-Yoruba.

She tweeted;

“This guy fraudulently lied to me that he wants to marry me. Took all my money to fund his election and disappeared immediately after winning the election. His friends and members of his family were in on the scam and they cheered him on.

“After he had achieved his mission he sent @Bobbyoba  to come and tell me that it was his mother who kicked against him marrying a non Yoruba. Every single thing Bobby told me that day I recorded it all,” Luciouspeenut Tweeted.

Reacting to the allegation, Honourable Akinribido thanked his ex-girlfriend for the free press.  In a Twitter post, he wrote: “free press”.
