Legendary Reggae music, Majek Fashek, is dead.
His death was confirmed by his longtime manager, Uzoma Omenka in the early hours of Tuesday, June 2,

He said: “What you heard is true, I will speak better later in the morning.”
In another video posted by Omenka on Majek Fashek’s official Instagram page, the manager said: “Today been having pressure calls, well it is true that the African No 1 Legendary ICON has gone to be with the LORD his Maker.
“Let celebrate him, his achievements and his family, whatever decisions made by his immediate family will be notify.

Majek Fashek: Concern Over-music Legends Health
Recall that Makek Fashek was last reported to be critically critically and was receiving treatment at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in England.
The singer was flown out of Nigeria on after his condition became critical.
At the hilt of his health condition, he was said to require thousands of pounds to cater for his feeding, transportation and other expenses.
During his travail, there had been reports that he was dead. However, his manager debunked the speculation.
“Majek is not dead; he is very sick and we are stranded and we need funds urgently,” his manager lamented then.
“We want his fans to pray for him; we have been to Nigerian High Commission in the UK and they said they have no funds and it is not their duty, you can’t imagine. We even got a letter from Queen Elizabeth hospital informing the high commission about Majek’s condition but it has amounted to nothing.”
There is the believe that Majek Fashek might have died from complications from several health challenges.
Majek Fashek will be remembered for his many hit singles such as ” Spirit Love”, “Rainmaker”, ” Little “, ” Prisoner of Conscience” among others.
