Dan Okeke’s name is renowned for excellence in the corporate world.
With several years in the private sector, Okeke spent the last three decades with the United Bank for Africa (UBA), rising to the post of Executive Director (ED).
As ED, the dark-complexioned and amiable man was responsible for leading consumer, commercial and public-sector businesses.
In the search of a new challenge, he recently joined Pan-African investment company, Heirs Holdings as Group Executive Director.
His appointment, which was confirmed on Sunday, August 1, will see him being responsible for business coordination and growth across Heirs Holdings’ portfolio of pan-African investments in the power, financial services, oil and gas, hospitality, real estate, healthcare, and financial technology sectors.
With his new appointment, Okeke will seek to set his own landmark based on the Africapitalism philosophy of the Group’s founder, Tony Elumelu.
