International flight operations will resume in Nigeria from Saturday, August 29.
This information was revealed by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika via his official Twitter handle on Monday, August 17.
The Minister said that the flight operations will start with the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, and the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja airports as was done with domestic flight resumptions.
According to Sirika, protocols and procedures will be announced in due course.
Sirika in his tweet posted on Twitter said: “Glad to announce the resumption of international flights from the 29th of August 2020. Beginning with Lagos and Abuja as we did with the domestic flight resumption. Protocols and procedures will be announced in due course. We thank you for your patience.’’
