Reaching out to the less privileged has become synonymous with Siju Iluyomade, the convener of the Arise Women Conference.
Over the years, the stylish woman has helped several less privileged individuals via the Arise Women Conference and the Arise Women Foundation.
Boasting the presence of several highly recognised and respected women in Nigeria including the Chairman of Access Bank Plc, Dr. Ajoritsedere Awosika; Mrs. Stella Okoli, CEO, Emzor Pharmaceutical; Professor Akin Abayomi, Commissioner of Health, Lagos State and Tomi Coker, Commissioner of Health Ogun State, the 12th edition of the conference did not disappoint.
Held recently at the AstroTurf ground of City of David, The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Oniru, Lagos, it proved to be a relief to many less privileged individuals in the society, and an opportunity to give back to society.
Through the leadership of Iluyomade, the conference gave out social amenities such as hospitals, school buildings, ICT Centres, and many more, in different parts of the country.
Realising that social amenities amount to nothing without food in the stomach, The Arise Pink Bucket, a palliatives initiative of the Arise Women Conference with content such as Rice, Spaghetti, Sugar, Toothpaste, Flour, and Groundnut Oil Sachet to be distributed in all Local Governments in Lagos State also took center stage at the event, bringing smiles to several faces.
