Thespian, Ernest Asuzu, has passed on after a long battle with stroke.
The actor’s death became public knowledge after he died at the age of 37, on Tuesday, January 26th.
Confirming his death, his wife Jennifer Asuzu said that the actor slumped on Tuesday evening and never woke up.
Once a celebrated star, Asuzu who has been down with the illness since 2015, went through a rough patch before finally giving up to death.
He began his acting career in the ’90s and rose to prominence after he starred in the 1997 Nollywood classic, ‘Rituals’.
His career nosedived after he came down with a stroke in 2015 which affected his speech. He was also bedridden for three years.
Prior to his death, Asuzu, believed that his health challenge was a spiritual problem. He is survived by a wife and two children.
