Dr. Ahmed Tijjani Ramalan Chief Executive Chairman of Liberty Radio
The moving train of the popular, Nigerian Broadcasters Nite (NBN) has arrived Kaduna and this is confirmed! And for the very first time, Liberty Radio 91.7FM, one of the newest radio stations dictating the pace in the far Northern region of Nigeria, will be celebrated at the monthly gig, designed to further celebrate the achievements of the Nigerian broadcast industry and its practitioners.
Interestingly, unlike previous editions held in Lagos, Ibadan and Abuja, the Nigerian Broadcasters Nite of Liberty Radio promises to be bigger and louder in Kaduna. The 2 in 1 event scheduled for Saturday, May 31st at the prestigious NAF Club Kaduna, will first witness a ceremonial banquet for special dignitaries, top celebrities, friends and loyal fans of the award winning radio station, at the NAF club’s banquet hall, and will be followed by an ‘after party’, another exclusive bash that will see invited guests battle it out on the dancing floor of NAF Club, one of the biggest celebrity hangouts in town.
You will, of course recall, that Liberty Radio emerged Best Radio Station in the Northern region at last year’s Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards (NBMA)
Speaking about the event, Dr. Ahmed Tijjani Ramalan (FCILT, FCI,MNI UK, Dsc) the Chief Executive Chairman of Liberty radio says, “We are not only happy that Liberty Radio emerged NBMA’S Best Radio station in the North, we are also very delighted the organisers of the prestigious award are here in Kaduna to celebrate us for our achievements so far. It hasn’t been easy but we thank God that Liberty Radio has gone this far in the space of little time. And we promise never to relent on our efforts to be the best in the country.”
Red carpet is slated for 4pm. Aside special appearances from Nollywood/Kaniwood star actor, Ali Nuhu, Imaobong a.k, a Sabi Girl and Bardon De Spider-Man from Lagos, the likes of Bishop Talk, MC Loudspeaker, MC Commissioner, MC Screech from Jos, Funny Obama, Dan Gwari, DH Dan Hausawa, Marvelous Eteng, Dan Zaki, Dan Auta, and Jibrin Jalatu, many other rising music and comedy stars will be there to entertain.
The event will be anchored by the famous Jeffery Isaacs, and features Kaduna’s foremost DJ Whiz, rocking the turntables.
And also, beyond the celebration of Liberty Radio with loads of music and comedy, the event would also witness the prestigious award of a special certificate to commemorate the NBMA plaque earlier won
