Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon
Political stalwarts in All Progressive Congress (APC), have tagged Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon a greedy politician.
This was coming as a result of the senators insistence on being the next governor of Lagos State, an ambition which might see a lot of “things fall apart” in the party.
Though the senator has always made his ambition to contest for the number one seat in Lagos State public, political juggernaults in Lagos APC are saying his passion and the way he is going about its pursuits might affect the party’s interest in the long run.
In a chat with www.theoctopusnews.com Muyideen Olawale, a youth leader of APC wondered what Ganiyu Solomon wants after an illustrious career as a politician. Furthermore, Olawale pondered why a man who has always been in the system and has been amassing wealth since his days as Chairman Mushin Local Government,
Honourable Member House of Representatives of the 5th National Assembly and currently a seating Senator wants to kill himself because of a gubernatorial ambition.
It is no secret that APC godfather, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, had told Senator Solomon and others who are interested in the position including Muiz Banire, Femi Hamzat, Adeyemi Ikuforiji and several others not to waste their money on campaign and to wait for their time, as Akinwunmi Ambode is the right man for the post presently.
APC stalwarts are insisting that Senator Solomon’s recent interview on AIT where he said he is only interested in the gubernatorial post has seen him placing himself against the interest of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. As such, he has been tagged a very adamant and greedy politician.
