Cross Section of Nigerian Entertainers
All plans have been concluded for the Nigerian Entertainment Industry Health Insurance Convention.
The convention, which will hold on Tuesday, July 22, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos is in partnership with National Health Insurance Scheme, Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Nigeria Medical Association.
It is designed as a customised learning and education platform for the practitioners of the entertainment industry and members of the public at large to understand the importance of health insurance and embrace it.
Consultations with HMOs are also underway to design a unique cover for the entertainment industry called The Nigerian Entertainment Industry Health Insurance Cover. It will come in Platinum, Gold, Bronze and Silver.
After the cover has been designed, then the entertainment industry health trust fund will be launched with signatories made public.
