Movies Avoid Money Ritual Contents, FG Tells Filmmakers Published 3 years ago on February 22, 2022 By The Octopus News Admin Nigerian movie makers have been directed to avoid content depicting money rituals. The instruction was passed down by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed. Speaking during a media visit to Daily Trust office in Abuja on Monday, February 21, the Minister said the Federal Government’s decision to sanitise social media is hinged on confessions of some money ritual suspects. Lai Mohammed said; “Many have also blamed Nollywood for featuring money rituals in some of its movies, saying this has negatively influenced the vulnerable youth. To mitigate this, I have directed the National Film and Video Censors Board, the body set up to regulate the film and video industry in Nigeria, to take this issue into consideration while performing its role of censoring and classifying films and videos. “I have also directed NFVCB to engage with stakeholders in the film industry in order to express the concerns of the government and Nigerians on the need to eschew money ritual content in their movies.” Post Views: 831 Related Topics:Avoid Money Ritual ContentsAvoid Money Ritual Contents; FG Tells FilmmakersFG Tells FilmmakersLai Mohammed Up Next 2013 Deliverance: Jim Iyke Describes Pastor TB Joshua As “This Guy” Don't Miss Comedian, Okon Lagos Advises Men On Sleeping With Women You may like FG Reacts To Speculation Surrounding Dissolution Of Federal Executive Council Minister Of Aviation Assures Nigeria Air Will Begin Operation Before End Of President Buhari’s Tenure Democracy, Ideology And Loyalty Buhari’s Administration Has Saved Nigerians From Hunger—Lai Mohammed FG Slams PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar 2023: PDP Will Loot Treasury Dry If Given Power-Lai Mohammed Click to comment Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
