Award-winning musician, 2face is receiving backlash for jumping on the ongoing trouble between the Okoye brothers.
Peter, one of the twin brothers who make up the music group P-Square, and their elder brother Jude who acts as their manager have been at loggerheads over their finances.
Though the brothers have been having issues for a while, the most recent development saw Jude Okoye being interrogated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), after a petition by Peter alleging that their former manager had been diverting millions of dollars to a separate company account.
Jumping on the issue to show support, the ‘Amaka’ singer wrote “Massive Love To P-Square. I’LL Love U Forever”.
However, he received massive backlash from Nigerians, as social media users asked if he had made peace with his gang.
“2face don make peace with the gang ? Them be 3 before as I know o,” the critic asked.
2face used to be a member of a music group popularly known as Plantashun Boiz, however, he unceremoniously ended the band after he launched a solo career. While 2face maintained a reasonable relationship with Faze, he and Blackfaze have remained at loggerheads.
