Nigerian singer and songwriter, D’banj has dropped his fifth studio album, “The Entertainer – D’Sequel”
The highly-anticipated album comes 16 years after its first release with the studio album title, “The Entertainer.”
“The Entertainer – D’Sequel” is a blend of Afrobeats and Afropop, with eleven songs and two bonus tracks
Collaboration on the album includes Grammy award winner, Wyclef Jean, late Fela Kuti’s Egypt ’80 Band, Awilo Logomba, Youssou N’Dour, American star Akon, South African megastar and NBC’s The Voice sensation, Chechi Sarai.
The new album also features Nigerian musicians such as Phyno, Timaya, Kayswitch, Zlatan, Peruzzi, Bhadboi Oml, Chuchu Lee, and Specikinging a newly discovered artiste off his talent discovery project, Cream Platform.
Speaking on the album, the artiste whose real name is Oladapo Oyebanji said, “Life is a maze of self-discovery and my new album, ‘The Entertainer – D’Sequel’ confirms this truth to me.
