Chief Emeka Agba has stated that the activities of religious organizations in the country is a serious problem.

He stated this during an interview with www.theoctopusnews.com. Speaking during the interview, the Chairman of Chief Emeka Agba Foundation stated that the power that most religious leaders allocate to themselves is something that needs to be looked at.

Agba said, “The influence they are welding, the negative influence they have on the majority of the masses of this country is something that needs to be looked at.

“The orientation they are giving the masses of this country is very bad. The heaven syndrome, the don’t worry, don’t labour, don’t hold your leaders accountable and wait and suffer and the believe that the kingdom of God is for the poor people has to change.”

Further, Agba said that some people have been conditioned to believe that the kingdom of God is for the poor people, adding that some people would rather chose to be poor or rather have been advised to be poor in other to enter the kingdom of heaven.

He lamented that religious leaders in Nigeria know that what they are preaching is not the truth because their own kingdom of God is here on earth in Banana Island, in Victoria Garden City, in Ikoyi and in exotic cars and private jets.

“The gullible have been made to believe that there is life after they are dead and that is a lie,” he concluded.
