A lot Of Nigerians Don’t Understand What Fuel Subsidy Means-Eniola Badmus

Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus has said that Nigerians buy fuel at one of the cheapest rates in the world.
The actress said this during an interview with media personality, Daddy Freeze.
The statement comes as Nigerians grapple with the continuous increase in pump price since the removal of fuel subsidy. Fuel currently sells as high as N568 to N700 per litre depending on the location.
According to Badmus, many people are blaming Tinubu for the hike in fuel price because they don’t understand what fuel subsidy means.
“A lot of these people, keypad warriors. They do not even have an idea of what fuel subsidy is. Even till now, I think we still buy the cheapest fuel in the world.” she said
In her interview, she also addressed those who criticized her for supporting Tinubu during the 2023 presidential election, Badmus said she has known the Tinubus for over 13 years and will not leave them to go support another person as she does not known the other two contenders, Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar
