Talk of one man who is raging on and standing his ground and the name which is likely to pop up is the former chairman of the House committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibirin.
In his war with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, three principal officers and nine other lawmakers Jibirin has suffered a lot of misfortune.
Most popular of his misfortune remains his suspension and the fact that he can never hold an office of authority. All these put together has however not deterred the man from his targeted goal.
Jibirin, who is quite vocal on social media recently reacted to the constitution of a committee to probe the Department of State Service (DSS) for arresting some judges.
Making mockery of the House of Representatives, Jibirin wrote thus “When you see House of Reps members stealing billions from fraudulent running cost and suppressing allegations of fraud yet shamelessly setting up committee to ‘Probe’ DSS! Who are they fooling?”
