The Imo State Commissioner of Police, Nasiru Mohammed has invited Senator Rochas Okorocha for questioning.
This was disclosed by the spokesman of the command, Orlando Ikeokwu.
According to Ikeokwu, the need to question the former governor came after the command got a distress call that the security details of Okorocha were engaged in a fracas with police operatives attached to the sealed property.
He explained that police officers swiftly intervened to prevent the total breakdown of law and order in the area.
Senator Okorocha’s invitation is not in isolation with his forceful opening of his wife’s sealed Royal Spring Palm Hotel.
Recall that Senator Okorocha along with his son-in-law Uche Nwosu and other supporters had had stormed the hotel and forcefully reopened it.
The development led to the arrest and detention of the senator and his son-in-law and political protegee, Nwosu.
