FirstBank Plc has once again been alleged of fraud.
According to Zone 4 Energy Limited, a petroleum product lifting company key members of FirstBank Plc allegedly forged document about the details of its transaction with the bank.
Investigation by this medium revealed that two of FirstBank Plc’s staff namely Razak Yussuf and Ayodele Ogunlana, were arrested by the police on August 26, in connection with the same case.
Futher investigation revealed that the duo were taken to zone A police station in Lagos State for interrogation in connection with the case.
Asides this duo, three other staff of the bank were arrested in Abuja on Tuesday, August 30th, also in connection with the same allegation of fraud.
Interestingly, the bank has refuted the allegation in a statement saying that the allegations are purely false and stagged for mischief.
