Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has emerged the All Progressive Congress (APC), gubernatorial candidate in Ondo State.
He defeated 11 other candidates to pick the ticket of the election slated for October 10.
Akeredolu won the highest number of votes at the party’s primary election held at the International Conference Centre, Akure on Monday, July 20, and was declared the party’s flab bearer.
Yahaya Bello, the chairman of the governorship primary election committee and Governor of Kogi State, announced the results after an election that lasted several hours.
