Alex Ozone opens up on conflict with Oritsefemi
Alex Ozone, boss of 03 Media, an events and artistes management outfit, has opened up on the misunderstanding between him and music act, OritsefemiMajemite Ekele.
In a statement sent to www.theoctopusnews.com, Ozone alleged that contrary to the impression Oritsefemi is creating, he (Oritsfemi) actually absconded while on a European tour put together by 03 Media and Urban Entertainment.
Amidst accusation and counter accusation, the statement further revealed that the artiste who is still on contract with Urban Entertainment in Czech Republic through 03 Media Limited in Nigeria would soon be dragged to court.
The contract between Oritsefemi and 03 Media according to the statement stipulates that the musician will embark on a month-long European tour of 10 cities at the rate of £1500 per show, which the artiste was paid a total amount of £6500 upfront.
However, having performed in just two shows, Oritsefemi allegedly absconded from his hotel room in Czech Republic, returned to Nigeria and began to request an increase in his fees from the initially agreed £1500 to £5000.
Over the years, Ozone has organised various shows including Davido’s first European tour and those of Terry G and Chuddy K.
Interestingly, all these are coming up just days after Oritsfemi’s unveiling as an artiste on Avatar, another entertainment company.
The artiste was presented with a brand new Range Rover Evogue on Sunday, November 30th at Blowfish Hotel, Victoria Island during his unveiling ceremony.
