The city of Kano in Kano State is witnessing a carnival of a sort, as the duo of Aisha Rabiu Kwankwaso and Fahad Dahiru Mangal celebrate their wedding fatiha.
The duo from solid families in the north. Aisha is the daughter of phenomenal politician, a former Kano State governor and a presidential candidate in the last general election, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
On the other hand, the groom, Fahad Mangal, is the son of business magnate, Alh. Dahiru Mangal.
Present the event taking place at the Kano Emirs’ palace are the Vice-president of Nigeria Kashim Shettima, the speaker of the house of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State.
Also in attendance is the former vice-president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar. Atiku arrived the venue of the event to cheers, chanting of his name, “Atiku’ and drums.
Other prominent personalities attending the event are Abubakar Bukola Saraki, ex-senate president; former Nigerian leader, Olusegun Obasanjo; Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal; Senator Abdul Ningi, and former governors of Zamfara and Kebbi States, Senator Abdulaziz Yari and Senator Adamu Aliero, respectively.
