Turning 60 years old demands rolling out the drums.
For politician, Emmanuel Nnamdi Uba, Friday, December 14, was the special day to roll out the drums, as he turned 60 years old.
A typical businessman in America, Uba’s return to Nigeria as the presidential assistant of erstwhile President Olusegun Obasanjo launched him into politics, its trickery, and murky waters.
Having swum several political seas and oceans, who wouldn’t roll out the drums to celebrate this new height.
Born on December 14, 1958, he was elected the governor of Anambra State in an election which held on April 14, 2007, only to be removed by a court in June 2007. In April 2011, he was elected into the Senate representing Anambra South Constituency of Anambra State.
Considered controversial by some people, Uba is a saint to others. However, for most people, Uba deserves to embrace being a sexagenarian.
